Greensburg-Barbara Hubert, 81, died February 15, 2019 in Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas. She was born December 1, 1937 in Yorktown, Texas to Richard M. and Lillie (Hilbrich) Schultz. Barbara was a graduate of Cuero High School, Cuero, Texas, class of 1956. Barbara worked occasionally outside of the home, but her main calling was as a homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Star of Hope Chapter, Thimbleena Club, and a member of the First United Methodist Church, all of Greensburg. Barbara was also an accomplished bowler and Tole painter, which brought her much joy and happiness. On February 18, 1961 Barbara married Robert A. Hubert in San Antonio, Texas and he preceded her in death. Barbara was also preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Schultz and a son Randy Hubert. Survivors include two sons, Larry Hubert and Robert G. Hubert (Cathy), one daughter Cheryl Adams (Troy), Kinsley, Kansas, five Grandchildren, Brenden Hubert, Kayla Hubert, Sarah Hubert, Bryce Hubert (Renee) and Andrea Hubert, three Great-grandchildren, Nick, Jordan and Autumn Hubert. Funeral services and celebration of Barbara’s life will be 10:30a.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg with Pastor Chu presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, at Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg. Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg, in care of Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S. Main St., PO Box 41, Greensburg, KS 67054-0041.
