Beverly Ann Beckham-Young

Greensburg-Beverly Ann Beckham-Young, 67, died October 30, 2019 in Ascension Via Christi- St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. She was born February 11, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Bud R. and Annie Lou (Brown) McFarlen. Bev was a retired Registered Nurse. She had lived in Greensburg and Harper, Kansas. Bev graduated from Haviland High School in 1970 and earned a nursing degree from Dodge City Community College. She had worked as the Kiowa County Health Nurse, at the Kwik Shop and for Valonda Little at Associated Business Services. She had served as an EMT, on the Greensburg City Council and on the board of Area on Aging. Bev is survived by three sons Guymon “Buddy” Beckham, Harper, Bradd and wife Dawn Beckham and Chadd Beckham all of Attica, Kansas, two Grandchildren Heidi and Jane Beckham, step-mother Jane McFarlen, Wichita, two brothers Raymond McFarlen, Winter Park, Florida, and Aduie McFarlen and wife Amanda, Texoma, Oklahoma, three sisters Brenda Lou McFarlen, Houston, Texas, Pamela Kay Chaffee and husband David, LeCompton, Kansas, Deborah Elaine Keiswetter and husband Bryan, Norton, Kansas, a niece Taylor and nephew Blasé McFarlen. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Patrick Wayne Beckham in 1996. Graveside services and celebration of Bev’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Fairview Cemetery.
