Bonnie L. Kendall

BELPRE – Bonnie L. Kendall, 56, died May 1, 2014, at South Wind Hospice House. She was born Oct. 13, 1958, in Burwell, Neb., to Vernon and Edna Irion Goochy. She lived in Burwell, Ord and Phillips, Nebraska, Valley Center, Kansas and most recently in Edwards County, Kan. She was a manufacturing Machinist. Bonnie is survived by three sons, Joseph Kriewald and his wife Jennifer of Lewis, Cody Kriewald and his wife Erica of Scottsbluff, Neb., and Casey Kriewald of Osceola, Neb.; three brothers, Steve Goochy of Burwell, Neb., Brian Goochy of Junction City, Kan., and Marlon Goochy of Middleton, Del.; a sister, Lori Culver of Manhattan, Kan.; and nine grandchildren, Bodie, Lance, Billy, Wyatt, Ashley, Nick, Kyra, Gabe and Haley. Celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at 6 p.m. tonight at The Pub of Lewis, Kan. Memorials are suggested to South Wind Hospice, in care of Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KS 67054. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
