Doyle Rodney Clark

Haviland- Doyle Rodney Clark, 90, died September 5, 2022, at Grand Plains Skilled Nursing Center, Pratt, Kansas. He was born September 4, 1932, North of Haviland, Kansas. A lifetime Kiowa County resident, Doyle was a farmer. He graduated from Haviland High School in 1952. Doyle served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion, Haviland and Elks Lodge, Pratt. On March 25, 1953, Doyle married Lou Ann Long in Haviland. She preceded him in death October 9, 1999. He is survived by one son Cletis and wife Jeana Clark, one daughter Rhea Clark and husband Stephen Bortz and one grandson Denton and wife Kadie Clark, all of Haviland. Graveside Services and Celebration of Doyle’s life, with Military Honors, will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in Haviland Cemetery with Pastor Rob Clark presiding. Memorials are suggested to the Glaucoma Research Foundation in care of Fleener Funeral Home, PO Box 41, Greensburg, KS 67054.
