Mullinville- Elta Kay Rose, 62, died January 17, 2022 at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas. She was born May 20, 1959 in Greensburg, Kansas the daughter of Elton Clarence and Doris Velma “Dot” (Miller) Martin. A lifetime Mullinville, Kansas resident, Kay graduated from Mullinville High School in 1977. She worked as secretary, receptionist and dispatcher for oilfield service companies, and was a homemaker and farm wife. On August 31, 1980 Kay married John A. Rose in Mullinville. He survives. Other survivors include a son Tyler Rose and wife Daree, Cherokee, Oklahoma, two daughters Michlynn St. John and husband Austin, Marysville, Kansas, Nicole Cooper and husband Thomas, Mullinville, eleven Grandchildren Treavor Green, Teagan Rose, Treagan Rose, Treaxton Rose, Treaton Rose, Tallea Rose, Tagert St. John, Kendal Cooper, Keigan Cooper, Ethan Cooper and Elijah Cooper, and one brother Terry Martin and wife Sherry, Garden City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Robert and Michael Martin. Memorial services and celebration of Kay’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Mullinville United Methodist Church with Brad Zimmerman presiding.
