Harold “Oscar” Loyd Klotz, age 83, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in Big Spring, Texas.
Harold was born January 2, 1933, and raised in Englewood, Kansas. After graduating from Englewood High School he joined the Air Force, serving his country proudly and with honor during the Korean War. Harold then attended and graduated from Northwestern State College, Alva, Oklahoma and Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. Harold lived in Midland, Texas and retired from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, after 25 years of service. Harold is survived by two sons: Douglas Klotz, Austin, Texas, and David Klotz and wife Austin of Austin, Texas; three brothers, Raymond, Jerry and Roger, all of Kansas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Betty Osborn, brother Larry and parents, Max and Mary.
Visitation will be held at Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S. Main Street, Greensburg, Kansas on Saturday, April 25, 2015, 10:30- 11:30 am. Funeral services at 11:30 with Pastor Jeff Miller officiating. Military Graveside services will follow at 1:30 pm in Englewood Cemetery, Englewood, Clark County, Kansas.
