Greensburg- Manford D. Koehn, 84, died September 18, 2015 at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. He was born November 9, 1930 in Greensburg, Kansas the son of Fred H. and Nina (Nightingale) Koehn. Manford was retired from the U.S. Military and a farmer. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Army National Guard. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Manford was a lifetime resident of Greensburg, and a member of the Cannonball Golf Club. On December 19,1953 Manford married Shirley Hollett in New Foundland, Canada. She survives. Other survivors include three sons Tim Koehn, Kentucky, Tom Koehn and wife Michelle, Chicago, Illinois, Mark Koehn and wife Penny, Greensburg, a daughter Barbara Johnson and husband Scott, Maple Hill, Kansas, three brothers LaVern, Ray and Larry Koehn, two sisters Juanita Schmidt and Maureen Unruh, twelve Grandchildren and eight Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers Jake and Lewellen Koehn and two sisters Mae Unruh and Aline Koehn. Funeral services and celebration of Manford’s life will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Bethel Mennonite Church, Greensburg with Pastor Mark Dirks presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. A visitation will be 5:00-7:00p.m. Tuesday at Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg. Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association in care of Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S. Main St., Greensburg, Kansas 67054.
