Salina-Marie S. Conyers, 93, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Holiday Resort Skilled Nursing of Salina, Kansas. She was born September 13, 1923 in Woodston, Kansas the daughter of Orley R. and Susie (Dickson) Musgrove. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1942. Marie was a retired restaurant employee. She worked at Burke’s Restaurant and later at the Care and Share Store, both in Greensburg. She was a member of the First Assembly of God, Greensburg. She had lived in McPherson, Kansas and Greensburg, Kansas since 1952, moving to Salina in 2001 to be near family. In 1945 Marie married Gene Conyers. He preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter Barbara Fetter and husband Ron, Salina, a daughter-in-law Carladyne Conyers, Lawrence, Kansas, two Grandchildren, three Great-grandchildren, one brother Dave and wife Nedra Musgrove, Winfield, Kansas, and two sisters Nina Todd and husband Jimmie, Manhattan, Kansas, Shirley Lewis and husband Russ, Wamego, Kansas, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded by a son Albert Conyers, four brothers and two sisters. Marie lived the last 13 months of her life at Holiday Resort Skilled Nursing, where she was loved and cared for by their great staff. Her family will be forever grateful for the care she received. Graveside services and celebration of Marie’s life will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg with Pastor Don Baltazor presiding. A visitation will be held 10:30 a.m.- Noon, Monday, at Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg.
