Marilyn Joanne Farra

Goddard- Marilyn Joanne Farra, 85, died April 26, 2022 at Medicalodge of Goddard, Goddard, Kansas. She was born September 20, 1936 in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Loren Calvin and Marian (Stanley) Miller. She attended college at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. She was a Public Librarian. Marilyn had lived in Idaho, Oregon, Belpre, Kansas, and Goddard. On August 11, 1957, Marilyn married Ora Gene Farra in Larned, Kansas. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a Granddaughter Paige Shamy. She is survived by two sons Jon Farra and wife Marisa, Dodge City, Kansas, and Jock Farra and wife Joey, Star, Idaho, five daughters Jewel Owen and husband Richard S., Green Valley, Arizona, Gina McClintick and husband Rich, Boise, Idaho, Jessica Hanson and husband Mike, Hugoton, Kansas, Josephine Wilson and husband Jim, Wichita, Kansas, Jacqueline Farra and wife Jaime, Augusta, Kansas, twenty Grandchildren and twelve Great-grandchildren. A celebration of Marilyn’s life and Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2022, in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg, Kansas with Pastor David Eckert presiding.
