Marvena Aldrich

Marvena Aldrich, 86, of Tulsa, Oklahoma was born on April 21, 1927. She passed away August 8, 2013 at St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa. Marvena was born the only child to Marvin and Nina Price of Mullinville, Kansas. She grew up and attended Mullinville Schools and graduated in 1945. She then attended beauty college and business school. She retired as the office manager from Potts Optics in Tulsa. She is survived by her son Larry Aldrich and daughter in law, Kristine of Mullinville. Her friend, Linda Clark of Tulsa, her Grandchildren, Scott Shelton and wife Angie of Moore, Oklahoma, Joani Shelton of Moore, Staci Jorgenson and husband, John of Moore, Julie Wegner and husband, Toby of Topeka, Kansas, Brandon Aldrich and wife, June of Baytown, Texas, and Kate D’Ambrosio and husband Mike of Alexandria, Virginia, Great -grandchildren: Chase, John,Jr., Price, Amanda, Nathan, Ona, Breanna and David. Marvena was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Nina Price; her husband, Lawrence Aldrich and daughter Donna Marie (Aldrich) Shelton. Marvena had a smile that would light up the room. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville, with Pastor Russell Scott officiating.
