Merlin B. Clark, 85, died September 2, 2013 at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center, Pratt, Kansas. He was born November 25, 1927 near Trousdale, Kansas, the son of Robert Lewis and Mamie (Johnson) Clark. He was a farmer. Merlin graduated from Haviland High School. He had lived in Haviland, Greensburg and Pratt. He was a member of the Elk’s Lodge in Pratt. On June 15, 1947, Merlin married Joyce Carson in Haviland. She survives. Other survivors include three sons Eugene and wife Pinki Clark, Pratt, Ron Clark, Haviland and Gary Clark, Pratt, one daughter Karen and husband Perry Mayes, Pratt, two sisters Waunita Cochran, Beaver, Oklahoma, and Murietta and husband Wally Tiede, Great Bend, Kansas eleven Grandchildren and twenty three Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a Grand-daughter Randa Clark and a sister Eulietta Lindsey.
