Mullinville- Minnie Ann “Mike” Sears, 96, died September 30, 2022 at Hill Top House, Bucklin, Kansas. She was born June 12, 1926 in Abilene, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph E. and Edna Mae (Clarner) Griffith’s. She graduated from Abilene High School. Mike was a housewife and worked as a school secretary and a city clerk. Her memberships included the PTD Club, Mullinville, Lions Club at Larned, Kansas, and was an active volunteer at the Pratt Regional Medical Center and Southwind Hospice, both of Pratt, Kansas, and the Kiowa County Senior Center, Greensburg. On November 29, 1945, Mike married Richard Morris Sears in Talmage, Kansas. He preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters Vivian Brown and husband Steve, Mullinville, and Susan Brown and husband Scott, Greensburg, one sister Edna Mae Swanson, five Grandchildren, Craig Brown, Jill Lyons, Traci Gumpenberger, Lori Myers, Jamie Brown and seventeen Great-grandchildren, and one Great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded by three brothers, Edward, Robert and Joseph Griffith’s, Jr.. Graveside services and celebration of Mike’s life will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville. A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg.
