Naomi L. Moyer

Mullinville- Naomi L. Moyer, 98, died December 15, 2024, in Hill Top House, Bucklin, Kansas. She was born February 11, 1926, in Telford, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Milton R. and Laura K. (Long) Barndt. She had lived in Salfordville, Pennsylvania where she was a seamstress for 24 years making sports coats and jackets and was a homemaker. On July 12, 1943, Naomi married Arthur H. Moyer in Souderton, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death March 10, 1990. They had moved to Mullinville, Kansas in 1988. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church, Greensburg, Kansas. Naomi is survived by two sons David Moyer and Dennis Moyer, a daughter-in-law Teresa Moyer, eleven Grandchildren, thirty-five Great-grandchildren and sixteen Great-great- grandchildren. She was also preceded by two sons Durrell and Dwight Moyer, a daughter-in-law Susan Moyer, and four brothers Preston, Clayton, Clarence and Stanley Barndt. Funeral services and celebration of Naomi’s life will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Greensburg Mennonite Church, Greensburg, with Rev. Jeffrey D. Blackburn presiding. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville. Memorials are suggested to the Hill Top House, Bucklin, in care of Fleener Funeral Home, PO Box 41, Greensburg, KS 67054.
