Greensburg- Raymond Earl Wadel, 84, died July 6, 2016 at the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas. He was born March 13, 1932 in Greensburg the son of Jacob and Evelyn (Unruh) Wadel. Raymond was a farmer and feed dealer. He was a lifetime resident of Greensburg and a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church, Greensburg. On January 11, 1953 Raymond married Neoma Nichols in Greensburg. She survives. Other survivors include four sons Arlin and wife Shelley Wadel, Greensburg, Sheldon and wife Susan Wadel, Haviland, Kansas, Charles and wife Sherri Wadel and Gregg and wife Lori Wadel, all of Greensburg, one brother Darrell and wife Velda Wadel, Spavinaw, Oklahoma, one sister Norma and husband Glen Koehn, Texline, Texas, a sister-in-law Eunice Wadel, Greensburg, fourteen Grandchildren and ten Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Steven Wadel, a brother Floyd Wadel, and a brother-in-law Keith Koehn. Funeral Services and celebration of Raymond’s life will be 10:30 am Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Bethel Mennonite Church, Greensburg, with Pastors Mark Dirks and Rod Nace presiding. Burial will follow in Bethel Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held 6:30-8:00 pm Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Church of God in Christ- General Missions in Care of Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S. Main St., Greensburg, Kansas 67054.
