Rhonda Lynn McElwain was born May 18, 1954, to Alan Clair and Dorothy E. McElwain at Kiowa County Hospital, Greensburg, Kansas. She was greeted with open arms by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, January 8, 2015. She was 60 years old.
Her love for her family was evident in her contagious laugh and cheerful spirit. She participated in the Special Olympics for a number of years bringing home medals of her achievements. She always had a large group of family and friends present to cheer her on!

She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Tim McGraw, Hulk Hogan, and Walker, Texas Ranger. She loved her home in El Dorado where she worked and lived with her close friends for many years. She enjoyed giving her handiwork to those closest to her which will always be our prized possessions.
