Riley D. Woodward

Larned- Riley D. Woodward, 77, died August 9, 2015 at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. He was born January 30, 1938 in Haviland, Kansas the son of Vern Emery and Inez Fern (McMullen) Woodward. He worked as a farmer and in the oil field. He had lived in Haviland, Akron and Cortez Colorado, and Larned, Kansas. R.D. was a member of the Haviland Friends Church, Haviland. He is survived by two sisters Jan Clemensen and Dixie Woodward, both of Haviland. He was preceded in death by a daughter Desiree Lyn Woodward and a sister Jeanene Fast. Memorial services and celebration of Riley’s life will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Haviland Friends Church, Haviland with Rev. David Crisp officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Haviland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, in care of Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S.
