Robert Arlen Hubert

Greensburg- Robert Arlen Hubert, 85, died September 29, 2016 at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita, Kansas. He was born November 30, 1930 in rural Kiowa County, Kansas the son of Glenn George and Frances Marie (Kruse) Hubert. He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1948 and attended Kansas State University. Bob served twenty-five years in the United States Air Force. He was a farmer and rancher. Bob had lived in San Antonio, Texas and Greensburg, Kansas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg where he served as a trustee and was the head usher and greeter, and had been the president of the San Antonio Little League. On February 18, 1961, Bob married Barbara Schultz in San Antonio. She survives. Other survivors include three sons Randy Hubert, Larry Hubert, Bobby Hubert and wife Cathy, a daughter Cheryl Adams and husband Troy, and five Grandchildren Brenden, Kayla, Sarah, Bryce and Andrea. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Gary Hubert. Funeral services and celebration of Bob’s life will be held 10:30 am. Monday, October 3, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg, with Pastor Terry Mayhew presiding. A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 pm.
