Greensburg- Tami Juliane Jantz, 51, died November 12, 2014 at her home. She was born October 20, 1963 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Doyal Wayne and Rogena Lavell (Belt) Brunson. Tami had lived in Garden City, Dodge City, Belvidere, Greensburg and Eagles Wings Ranch- South of Haviland, Kansas. She was a ranch wife and secretary/ receptionist. She earned a diploma from Greensburg High School in 2005. Tami’s memberships included the Kiowa County Historical Society, Triangle Rodeo Club, Girl Scout co-leader and the K-9 Search and Rescue of Kansas. She served on the Kiowa County Extension Board, and attended the Greensburg Mennonite Church. On July 17, 1982 Tami married Marvin Jantz in Dodge City. He survives. Other survivors include three sons Garrett and wife Samantha, Greensburg, Brenden Jantz and Weston Jantz both of Haviland, a daughter Dalaina Jantz, Alva, Oklahoma, two Grandchildren Charlee and Cooper Jantz, her mother Rogena Randall and husband Robert, Dodge City, one brother Todd Brunson, Dodge City, one sister Terri Quint and husband Danny, Northfield, Minnesota, and sister-in-law Lori Brunson, Minneola, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father Doyal Brunson. Funeral services and celebration of Tami’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Greensburg Mennonite Church, Greensburg, with Rev. Jeffrey D. Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in Soldier Creek Cemetery, Belvidere. Friends may visit the family 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Tami Jantz Memorial Fund, Victory in the Valley and K9 Search and Rescue of Kansas, all in care of Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S. Main St., Greensburg, KS, 67054.
