Greensburg- Virginia L. Tedder, 62, died December 28, 2014 at her home in Greensburg, Kansas. She was born March 4, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Vic and Aldona (Jonavicius) Gotautas. Virginia graduated in 1971 from St. Mary’s High School, New Baltimore, Michigan. She was a mechanic for ANR Pipeline Company. She had lived in St. Clair, Michigan, Laverne, Oklahoma, McKinzie, Tennessee, and Greensburg, Kansas. Survivors include two sons Billy V. Tedder and wife Robin, Forgan, Oklahoma, Chris Tedder and wife Jodi, and two daughters Jennifer Tedder and Kimberley Tedder all of Greensburg, seven Grandchildren Michael Tedder, Remmington Grasz, Rhylan Tedder, Colby Tedder, Cambree Tedder, Madisun Tedder, and Nick Mull, a sister Milda Cruz and husband Dave, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, two half-sisters Dona and Angela, and a nephew Paul Gabler, Coldwater, Kansas. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Victor Gotautas.
A memorial service and celebration of Virginia’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Myatt-Laverne Funeral Home, Laverne, Oklahoma with David Glasscock officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Virginia Tedder Final Expense Fund in care of First Security Bank, Beaver, Oklahoma and Peoples Bank, Greensburg, Kansas.
