Greensburg- Willard R. Olinger, 90, died August 7, 2015 at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. He was born February 26, 1925 in Cullison, Kansas. Willard was a minister and cattleman. He had lived in Cullison, Burns, and Greensburg, Kansas. Willard was a member of the Kiowa County Ministerial Alliance, a lifetime member of the Greensburg Lions Club, and helped organize Meals on Wheels in Greensburg. On June 9, 1946 Willard married Betty Unruh in Greensburg. She survives. Other survivors include one son Russ Olinger and wife Sondra, Alva, Oklahoma, one daughter Cristee Coates and husband Doug, Pratt, Kansas, one brother Nelson Olinger and wife Letha, Independence, Kansas, two sisters Kathryn Salmans and husband Bill, Meridian, Texas and Barbara Newbill and husband Dave, Kingman, Arizona, four Grand-daughters Angie Lytle and husband Casey, Wellsville, Kansas, Kelli Adolph and husband Rob, Girard, Kansas, Sarah Petro and husband Mike, Manhattan, Kansas and Hannah Coates, Pratt, and eleven Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers Harvey, Basil and Keith Olinger and two sisters Bernice Olinger and Marjorie Riley. Funeral services and celebration of Willard’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Terry Mayhew and Dr. Michael Little presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. A visitation will be held Thursday 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg.
